ScribeGate turns your audio and video files into accurate transcripts in minutes — no setup, no hardware, just upload and go.
1. Create your account
Head to scribegate.com and sign up with your email or Google account. It takes under 30 seconds.
2. Upload your file
From the dashboard, click New Transcription. You can upload MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, and most common audio/video formats up to 2 GB.
ScribeGate uploads your file directly to secure cloud storage — your data never passes through our servers unencrypted.
3. Choose your settings
Before transcription starts you can set:
- Language — ScribeGate auto-detects, but you can pin it for accuracy
- Speaker diarization — identify who said what in multi-speaker recordings
- Output format — plain text, SRT subtitles, or timestamped JSON
4. Wait for your transcript
Most files finish in under two minutes. You'll see a live progress bar on the dashboard. ScribeGate runs on GPU-accelerated WhisperX workers, so even long recordings process fast.
5. Review and export
Once complete, open the transcript editor to correct any mistakes. Export as .txt, .srt, or copy straight to your clipboard.
That's it. If you run into any issues, check the FAQ on the homepage or reach out via the in-app support chat.
